Steven Goldwasser, MD

Dr. Goldwasser received his medical degree from Tulane University School of Medicine and completed his residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Tennessee in Memphis. He completed a fellowship in Urogynocology and Reconstructive Pelvic Surgery at Good Samaritan Hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio.
Dr. Goldwasser was an Assistant professor and Chief of the Division of Urogynecology and Reconstructive Pelvic Surgery at University of Florida Health Science Center, Jacksonville from 2000-2006. He entered private practice and joined North Florida OB/GYN in January 2011.
He is actively involved in the development of new surgical techniques, as well as other medical devices. He has one of the largest ongoing databases tracking surgical outcomes with graft augmentation in pelvic reconstructive surgery.
Dr. Goldwasser and his wife, Becky, have two little girls. He enjoys spending time at the beach, riding bikes, weight lifting and tennis.

Dr. Goldwasser is active in community educating women on urogynecologic issues, has appeared on WJCT’s Health Matters, and has spoken at various events, such as Speaking of Women’s Health and Baptist Health’s Lunch and Learn forums.
