Patricia A. Schroeder, MD

Dr. Schroeder received her medical degree from the University of Miami in 1988. Her medical career began as a nurse in the field of OB/GYN. Her passion for women’s health care led her to further pursue her studies as a physician. Dr. Schroeder completed her residency in 1993 at the University of Florida Health Science Center. She was recognized for her excellence in teaching and was the winner of the Research Symposium in 1992.
As a woman, she believes all women are unique and therefore customizes her care to the individual person. She has special interests ranging in the Care of Adolescents to Women in the Peri/Post Menopausal Years. Dr. Schroeder has expertise in Post Menopausal Hormone Therapy including Bio-identical Hormones.
As a gynecological surgeon, she offers Advanced Gynecologic Laparoscopic procedures as well as Minimally Invasive Procedures in Birth Control and Excessive Bleeding including Uterine Ablations.
Her practice is limited to gynecology and she offers “Boutique” Gynecologic Care for women, including Laser Hair Removal and Photo-Facial Skin Rejuvenation in the privacy and safety of the medical office.
Dr. Schroeder is married and has two children whom she enjoys spending time with. Her hobbies include working out, gourmet cooking, music, ballroom dancing and hiking in the mountains.
