Blake D. Butterworth, MD

Dr. Butterworth was raised in Orange Park, FL during middle and high school, and graduated cum laude from the University of Florida with a B.S. in Chemistry. He stayed in Gainesville for his medical training, and received his M.D. from the University of Florida College of Medicine. He completed resident physician training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) in Charleston, SC in 2018.
He sees both obstetric and gynecology patients, and has a special interest in general obstetric care, minimally invasive gynecologic surgery, management of abnormal uterine bleeding and fibroids, pelvic pain and endometriosis, and contraception management.
Dr. Butterworth and his wife Jennifer are expecting their first child. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his family, outdoor activities including boating and fishing, and watching Gator football.
