Dr. Boyd received his medical degree from Jefferson Medical College (Philadelphia, PA), and completed his residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Florida Health Science Center (Jacksonville, FL), where he served as Administrative Chief Resident, followed by Assistant Professor, prior to joining North Florida OB/GYN in 2004. 

He is married and has two children. Dr. Boyd’s wife, Catherine McIntyre, is a board-certified obstetrician and gynecologist, as well, and practices at the same location.
