A native Floridian, Dr. graduated from Stetson University (DeLand, FL) in 1983. Later that year he married his college sweetheart. He then attended the University of Miami School of Medicine (Miami, FL), and went on to complete his residency training in Obstetrics & Gynecology here in Jacksonville at the University of Florida Health Science Center (now Shands-Jacksonville). In 1991, he began private practice and became a founding partner of North Florida OB/GYN Associates.

He has special interests in Minimally Invasive Surgical Techniques, including In-office Procedures for Prevention of Pregnancy (Essure or Adiana) and for Control of Heavy or Abnormal Bleeding utilizing Novasure or Thermachoice Endometrial Ablation Techniques. He is trained in the use of the DaVinci robot and is now using this technique in the performance of Hysterectomy and Myomectomy at Baptist South Hospital. Additional surgical interests include Correction of Pelvic Organ Prolapse Stress and Urinary Incontinence. Nonsurgical interests include Contraceptive Management of Menopausal Symptoms, and trying to help patients with Diminished Sex Drive.

Outside of medicine, he enjoys time a home with his family, reading, and tasting and learning about wine throughout the world. Dr. Connor is married and has three daughters.

Community

Dr. Connor has traveled to Fond des Blancs, Haiti to provide gynecologic  surgical assistance to the women there through St. Boniface Hospital.
